- .75 oz. Aperol
- .75 oz. Ginger Pineapple Syrup
- .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Add all ingredients in an ice filled mixing glass. Shake, strain over fresh ice into a pilsner glass. Garnish with a piece of candied ginger.

Inspiration: Named after Halle Berry's character in Swordfish, this one is sweet, spicy, and smokey, all in one, just like the lady herself.

Jennifer Aniston: "Old Friends"

- 1 oz. Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz. Cynar
- 1 oz. Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth

Combine ingredients in an ice filled mixing glass and stir vigorously for 25 seconds. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Inspiration: This is a variation of a classic cocktail called the Old Pal, which is in turn, a variation on the Negroni. It will be there for you.

- 2oz Jalapeno Infused El Jimador Tequila
- 1.5oz Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
- .75oz Orange Curacao
- .50oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

Shake all in all the ingredients and strain over fresh ice into a pilsner glass with a chipotle salted rim. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Inspiration: Katniss feels the heat constantly in The Hunger Games, and so will you with this spicy sipper.

- 1.5 oz. Beefeater Gin
- 3 oz. "Ghost Mix"

Shake ingredients and strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a cucumber wheel. To make a "ghost mix" you start by making a high quality Bloody Mary mix, let it sit overnight, then strain out the solids using cheesecloth. You're left with a mixture that has all that Bloody Mary flavor, but a much lighter consistency.

Inspiration: I imagine this as the kind of drink Danny Archer's (Dicaprio's fictional character) relatives might enjoy.

- ¾ oz. Lemon Juice
- ½ oz. Maple Syrup
- 6 drops St. Elizabeth’s Allspice Dram

Inspiration: This cocktail is perfect for this time of year. My predecessor, Jen Marshall, came up with this delicious drink that keeps finding it's way back to Nitehawk's cocktail menu. It's flavor is as complex and sprawling as its namesake movie.

- 4 oz. Absolut Elyx Vodka
- .25 oz Noilly Prat Extra Dry Vermouth

Combine ingredients in an ice filled mixing glass. Stir vigorously for 40-50 rotations. Strain into a chilled large coupe and garnish with a jalapeño stuffed olive.

Inspiration: A double Absolut Martini is the drink that Jared Leto's short lived, but memorable, character orders during his fateful dinner with Patrick Bateman. It packs a wallop and is best enjoyed while listening to Huey Lewis and the News.

- 2 oz. Machu Pisco
- .5 oz. Orgeat Syrup
- .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Add all ingredients in a pint, top with ice. Shake well and strain into a coupe. Garnish: 3 drops hibiscus syrup.

Inspiration: This is a take on a Pisco Sour, but without the egg white. It's pure as the driven snow with a kiss of red. Not unlike Anne Hathaway's character in Alice in Wonderland.

- 1.75 oz Noah's Mill Bourbon
- .5 oz. Spiced Apple Syrup
- .5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- .25 oz. Averna

Add all ingredients in a pint, top with ice. Shake, strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a flamed orange peel.

Inspiration: To make a spiced apple syrup, make a hot cider, spiced to taste with cinnamon, clove, and allspice. Then , dissolve into it an equal amount of sugar. This cocktail is perfect for a quiet fall night. Just don't drink too many and lose your head.
