Oscar winner Emily Blunt may have another trophy to add to her collection tonight. The Devil Wears Prada star is nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Academy Awards for her role of Kitty Oppenheimer in Oppenheimer.

This year marks the very first time that Blunt has been nominated for an Oscar, though her trophy case isn't anything to sneeze at — she's won both a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for previous roles in Gideon's Daughter and A Quiet Place. For tonight's big show, which closes out this year's awards season, Blunt wore a sequined ivory Schiaparelli gown with metallic silver detailing along the arched structured straps and midsection. The unique piece also had an attached floor-gazing train.

Blunt accessorized the regal frock with a silver diamond Tiffany choker, which she complemented with stud earrings and a matching diamond ring. Chunky silver platforms peeked out of the slit in the back of the dress, and Blunt finished off the look with a “Grecian whimsical" top-knot updo perfected by her hairstylist Laini Reeves.

Her husband, John Krasinski, who accompanied her on the carpet, showed his support by matching his wife in an ivory suit and matching bowtie. A diamond brooch and black patent leather dress shoes added finishing touches to his coordinating ensemble.

After this year's Oscars nominations were announced, Blunt shared that she learned about hers while she was out walking her dog — and more specifically, picking up after her dog.

"I did have a brief cry when I learned ... directly after picking up my dog’s poop," Blunt told MTV’s Josh Horowitz, according to People. In a more official statement, Blunt commended the team behind the film and her co-stars. "I’m completely overcome and overjoyed. Weak-legged and immensely grateful for this moment," she said in a statement. "It goes without saying that this staggering film has changed my life."

"Colossal congratulations to my OppenHomies who all blew the doors off the place in their fields," Blunt added. "We are a family in this, so to raise a glass alongside my friends is a euphoric feeling indeed."
