A spicy restaurant rivalry that pits two Amalfi Coast dining destinations against one another has emerged in an unlikely, far-flung location: San Vicente Bungalows. Last October, the private membership club launched a pop-up hosting Lo Scoglio as part of its “Sunday Supper” series. High-ranking members of the family business including owner and maître d’ Antonia de Simone and her chef brother Tommaso de Simono flew over from their home base in Marina del Cantone, Nerano, to supervise the temporary dining experience, accompanied by home-grown vegetables and fish sourced out of the Mediterranean.
